Activities

If you enjoy skiing, Beitostølen offers 21 downhill slopes and 320 km of groomed cross-country trails, both in the forest and on the mountain. Enjoy the stunning views as you glide through Jotunheimen dressed in white. Beitostølen is known for their family friendly slopes, but you find more challenging slopes in Raudalen right across the valley. Facilities for cross-country and downhill skiing in the night are also offered. Beitostølen has a great snowboard park with its own lift,  many jumps and rails of varying difficulty.

Don't worry if you are not a skier; Beitostølen offers many other activities; Dog sledding, Sleigh rides, Snow rafting and Snowmobile circuit race to mention a few. You can find more information at www.beitostolen.com or just ask in the reception at our hotel.

Also this year we are planning a two hour trek on horseback at Myhre Gård, located just outside Beitostølen. If you are interested to join us please let us know (either on the Contact form or send us an e-mail) - the cost is about 550 NOK and the tour is adjusted for beginners.
